About the Role & Team
International Data Corporation (IDC) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to support our Research & Data organization charter, mobilize and deliver on its strategic programs and projects. This role will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects on time, within scope, and within budget, while coordinating with local and international stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be an experienced and highly organized Project Manager to lead cross-functional projects from initiation through delivery, and flexible with working hours to accommodate working with stakeholders in different time zones. This role will be a remote role with a preferred location of Mexico City, and will report to the Director, Programs.
What You’ll Do
- Lead end‑to‑end management of business and operational projects, including defining scope, establishing timelines, managing budgets, and ensuring on-time delivery.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, resource allocations, and progress trackers.
- Coordinate and align cross-functional teams across business operations, finance, HR, product, and other key partner groups.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, delivering clear and consistent updates, dashboards, and reporting.
- Proactively identify project risks, dependencies, and issues; implement mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
- Ensure all projects adhere to internal processes, operational standards, compliance requirements, and regional regulations.
- Facilitate project meetings, decision-making sessions, and post‑project reviews to drive continuous improvement.
- Manage change requests, evaluate business impacts, and maintain alignment with organizational priorities and strategic objectives.
- Track KPIs, operational metrics, and performance indicators to assess project success and inform future planning.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, Management, or a related field.
- 3–5+ years of experience leading business, operational, or cross‑functional projects.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid approaches, PMP‑based practices).
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
- Professional working proficiency in English for effective collaboration with international teams.
- Experience working with distributed or global stakeholders, including teams across the Americas and worldwide.
- Familiarity with common project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, MS Project, Smartsheet, Monday.com).
- Project Management certification (PMI, PRINCE2, CSM, or similar) preferred.
