Overview

The Operations Analyst will join IDC’s Research Operations team, supporting the efficient execution of operational programs, tools, and process improvements worldwide. This is a hands-on, dynamic position where you’ll work closely with internal stakeholders to help deploy new systems, refine workflows, and ensure smooth adoption of change initiatives.

This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is curious, adaptable, and eager to learn. Strong English communication skills—both written and verbal—are essential to succeed, as you’ll frequently interact with diverse stakeholders across IDC and in the IDC supplier community.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the rollout, administration, and ongoing support of research operations tools and processes.
  • Troubleshoot issues, and explore new features or integrations in close cooperation with IT and other internal stakeholders.
  • Support testing and configuration of new systems in partnership with IT and other stakeholders.
  • Deliver training, guidance, and best practices to internal users adopting new tools or processes.
  • Respond to user inquiries with clear, professional communication in English, ensuring timely and positive outcomes.
  • Coordinate programs and initiatives with IT, marketing, procurement, product managers, and external suppliers.
  • Support knowledge management by maintaining clear documentation and process guidelines, and curate internal community sites.
  • Assist with requirements gathering, task tracking, testing, and other project coordination tasks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience, ideally in consulting, professional services, or a dynamic business operations environment
  • Experience with technology tools or operational processes is a plus, but not required (such Coda, Notion, Monday.com, MS Planner, Vizio, PowerBI) 
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively in English (both written and verbal)
  • Service-oriented mindset, with a focus on supporting internal “clients”
  • Based in Mexico City with availability for hybrid work.
  • This is a direct hire position with IDC.
