Overview

IDC is seeking an Associate Market Research Analyst to join the imaging solutions team. 

 

The Associate Market Research Analyst should possess strong research, presentation, and time management skills and knowledge of the technology markets.  The analsyt should preferably have an interest or knowledge in the technology areas listed above and should be capable of handling large datasets and models.

 

This role will be based out of our Sao Paulo, Brazil office in a Hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities

- Conduct primary research through vendor, channel and end user interviews.
- Analyze market trends and purchase behavior to provide strategic recommendations.
- Present findings to clients and internal teams in a clear and concise manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives.

The analyst will be covering various trackers in the Imaging, Printing and Document Solutions domain on quarterly basis. These are HCP Tracker (Hardcopy Peripherals), Industrial Printer, Document Scanners, Printer Consumables, Imaging Market Solutions Tracker, Managed Print & Document Services among others.

In addition, the analyst needs to support any consulting projects related to IPDS (Imaging Printing & Document Solutions) domain.

Qualifications

- Fluency in written and oral English.
- Minimum Bachelor's degree and 1-2 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong data management and analysis skill.
- Strong writing skill.
- Understanding of trading business.
- Client management skill.
- Strong interviewing skills. Able to probe questions/ has inquisitorial talent.
- Responsible and accountable.
- Strong logical thinking.
- Strong interest in research.
- Enthusiastic in learning new business strategy.
- Good listener.
- Working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
- Fluency in written and oral Spanish will be an advantage.
- Experience in peripherals (specially printers) market will be an advantage.

Salary range and additional compensation, including discretionary bonuses and incentive pay, are determined by a rigorous review process. This process considers the experience, education, certifications, and skills required for the specific role, equity with similarly situated employees, as well as employer-verified Latam region-specific market data provided by an independent 3rd party partner. The expected total annual compensation, depending on location and experience, is between R$45,000 and R$48,000 per year of base salary plus variable compensation (if applicable).
