IDC is seeking a Sr. Market Research Analyst IT Services. Join our Latam IT Services research team within the Data and Analytics Group at IDC Mexico. As a Sr. Market Research Analyst, you will be responsible for tracking, analyzing, and reporting on the IT Services market in Mexico.

This role is ideally based in Mexico City offices with a hybrid work schedule. We will also consider qualified candidates in approved remote locations.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct primary and secondary research using various methods.
  • Schedule interviews and build relationships with IT Services vendors and partners in Mexico to gather performance and strategy information.
  • Perform market-sizing and forecasting, including data collection, input, and modeling. Collate findings in IDC's proprietary databases.
  • Contribute opinions and publish reports on market technologies and trends.
  • Lead technology and insights-driven discussions, delivering key research results to both internal and external audiences.
  • Engage in regional and local research projects, either individually or as part of a team.
  • Support IDC's sales, consulting, and marketing teams by working on project proposals, developing market offerings, and servicing clients.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as Market Analyst, Market Research Analyst, Market Research Consultant, Business Development Analyst, Product Marketing Analyst or Qualitative Market Analysis. (must)
  • At least 2 years of experience in the IT Services industry, preferably in strategy, consulting, and/or professional services. (desirable)
  • Highly analytical.
  • Good communication skills, including public speaking and presentation abilities.
  • Strong technical understanding.
  • Experience working in virtual, cross-functional teams.
  • Exposure to or experience in the Latin America region.
  • Strong writing skills.
  • Self-motivated and result-oriented.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn and share.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to adapt quickly

 

At IDC, we are committed to fair and equitable pay practices. We compensate our employees fairly for their work, commensurate with their individual skills and experience. Salary ranges and additional compensation, including discretionary bonuses and incentive pay, are determined through a rigorous review process. This process considers the experience, education, certifications, and skills required for the specific role, equity with similarly situated employees, and employer-verified Latam region-specific market data provided by an independent third-party partner. The expected total annual compensation, depending on location and experience, is between MX$30,000 and MX$35,000/month gross, inclusive of base salary and variable compensation (if applicable).
